Your First Visit

A lot of people are not sure what to expect on their first visit to the chiropractor. The following explains what would happen on a typical first visit in our office. Brief Forms

Upon entering the office, we have some brief forms for you to fill out. The paperwork provides us with information about you and a health history so the doctor may better understand your current and past health condition. You may print and fill out the paperwork ahead of time by going to the Patients>Forms tab. 

Consultation

Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with the case manager and Dr. Smith to discuss your health-related problems and concerns.

History/Examination/X-Ray

In order to determine what your problem is, the doctor will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, Dr. Smith will check your posture on bi-lateral weight scales and take digital pictures of your posture. This is performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent.  Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to either rule out more serious conditions or to assist us in developing the most effective wellness plan for you.

Schedule Your Next Appointment

Once finished with the examination and all appropriate studies, you will be scheduled to return to receive a comprehensive report of findings. Generally speaking, patients are usually seen within 1-2 days of their first visit. Correction plans and your investment options for your condition will also be discussed on this visit.
